@stevieb  This sounds similar to an Instacart order disaster we experienced at the beginning of the pandemic. We ordered 14 items. We were charged for all 14 items, but only 4 were delivered. After repeated attempts to obtain  a refund for the missing groceries, we were only given a partial credit. It cost an additional $8.00 to recoup the missing items! Never again, Instacart!🛒😤

I tried calling the Q last week and I kept pushing zero and I finally got a "real" life person.. I just about fainted. I did get a credit so it was worth the efforts. DH purchased me a family pendant, then a couple of days later it was on sale. Never fails..

The PN Poppy is a really nice bag. I was happy to find it isn't too heavy even with all my "stuff" in it. The leather is so supple and smells delish. I have so many bags, but I couldn't pass up the price and no shipping.. ta da. 

Your bag is so cute, I am glad you love it. At least we can enjoy something, no body can take that away from us. I hope... 

Funny, my new pills are blue too, and I do believe my doctor mentioned some of my meds do come from China.. UGH>>> that's why the price is so high...

Those are really cute face masks. I am still wearing the masks that the hospital has given me. I did purchase a box at the pharmacy just in case.

Dental implants... OUCH. I am a total chicken. I know I couldn't handle that pain. The sea salt Talenti caramels look sooooo good.

Now that pup with the birthday hat gave me a chuckle. He's so cute.  It looks like he's waiting for cake.

Going thru the last steps of my dental implant and my mouth is sore and my credit card is loaded.

Plus it has been 100 degrees here and we worry about early fire season (No. Cal). And, our county got "rolled back" due to the number of virus cases.

My prescriptions have ingredients from China and the supply chain has been delayed.  I have bright blue substitute pills I call "Smurfs" that are not as good. Just as expensive though..

My cute Coach wallet came UPS.  The masks (Sharky and Rexy) are sitting in Jacksonville for three days waiting for a USPS label to even start their journey.

We are on a diet and after the dentist I went and bought Talenti and I paid REGULAR price and I don't care !!

My stepdaughter (paramedic) had a nice special BBQ birthday planned for the new boyfriend (police dept) and she had a positive covid patient on her shift.  They had a whole cake to eat and the important socially distanced guests became the dog with a birthday hat. 

OK batter up, who wants to vent next ??

@hicindy2, you have a lot going on, between worrying about your SD and her BF, that implant procedure (wow, how many steps is it?!) and dealing with the ongoing Covid crisis in CA!!! Everyday life is so different now and not in a good way!
Hope everything went well with Step 5 today! Enjoy that cute new wallet!! I'm beginning to think that online "retail therapy" is one of the main reasons that we are still sane in this insane world, LOL!!!💙

I agree with everyone! 2020 is a very bad year so far! I'm dealing with DH's serious cardiac issues and as @Leeny said, doctor's appts., cardiac procedures, constant medication adjustments! Life is not good right now and constantly worrying is making me sag a bit, that's for sure!
Unfortunately, I'm finding comfort in online shopping but then there are money worries from that!!!

Oh, and yes, this heat and humidity make things even worse! We have no airconditioning in our house, only fans. My dream house would have central airconditioning and walk-in closets, LOL!!!

You've said it all once again. I couldn't say it any differently!

In all my born days I never ever could have imagined all this junk we've been dealt with. At least in my life time. It's like being stuck in the Twilight Zone with no end in sight. My DH and I had so many plans, and they have not come to full fruition or anything even close. You having a pool right there and you can't even use it, that's just pure you know what. 

I told DH, what I would love to do is go to a movie, any movie and we can't even do that. 

As for those bunch of loons out ripping up everything, don't get me started. I can tell you this, my ancestor's didn't have the window or the pot if you know what I mean. You are so right when you said we didn't have anything do with this mess. When is it going to be said, enough is enough???

Oh, my goodness, no air? You have my total sympathies. I'd be soaking in a cool tub if it were me, but then I'd wonder how the heck would I get up to get out.. In our old house we had central air, and it was the best thing about our home. I grew up with one fan in the house. My dad didn't like fans, can you believe that? 

We have air now, but it's not central. We live in a smaller ranch condo now and we are ok with our unit. 

Take care in this heat though. It's miserable, stay hydrated and don't do anything strenuous for now.

Sadly @Leeny  Every day seems pretty much just like the one before... Our options are so limited... Going to McDonald's or the drug store is suddenly a big deal... As for the rest, I don't think it ever will be said because, you know, it just 'would't look right'... Whatever... My fear is that sooner or later there's going to be a huge upheaval when a large and angry group of people do decide enough is enough... A mob mentality on both 'sides' is a frightening concept... As far as my own personal view of history, I believe this is the lowest point I've seen in my lifetime... It's uncanny because although I've felt 'society' has been deteriorating, and badly, for some time, things were actually flowing along fairly nicely until the nightmare began late last winter, and it's been downhill since then... You'd think at some point, we'd begin to see a little light at the end of the tunnel...
