Wowie!

A few years ago I planted a Honeycrisp apple tree in my front yard. The first two years weren't sucessful; one year the apples were covered with scab and last year a windstorm blew all the blossoms off.

 

I went out this morning a picked a few apples that looked like they'd be ok and WOWIE!!!! They were just stupendously good--almost like apple flavored sugar. And of course I didn't have to consider whether they were covered in weed spray or anything like that, since I grew them in my own front yard.

 

I'm looking forward to next year!

Honeycrisp apples are my favorite!  How nice that you have your own tree!

I love Honey Crisp apples.  My favorite, though, are Pink Lady apples!  ❤
