@D Kay wrote:White peaches in SC are just as large as the yellow ones. I prefer them to yellow peaches. If they are good and ripe, they are so juicy.
Yes, these get pretty big too. I guess I was just thinking of the regular peaches you sometimes see at the grocery that look as though they've been on steroids lol.
I totally agree with you on the taste. They're so juicy and delicious!😃
Im glad to know you can grow them in SC😃

Thank you so very much.😊❤️
These peaches are actually pretty easy to grow, as long as no hard frosts hit after they bloom. Even if that happens though, they really are a beautiful green addition to any garden. Plus, they seem to sprout out baby shoots like crazy! There would be peach trees everywhere if we didn't trim them back.
We've been fortunate enough to be able to give lots away.
We have two other varieties of peach trees too. I've always preferred the size of these, as they're more ornamental. I think technically, these are a white patio peach. Our other white peach tree looks a bit different.

@on the bay gave me a terrific idea about the peach ice cream! I'll definitely try this and sorbet now. I sure wish I'd have bought the ninja creammi TSV now!

@cheriere Outstanding! I ate my first white peach while on a trip to CA. We drove past an orchard and they had a fruit stand and there were these baskets of white peaches that smelled divine. One of the workers, cut one up and offered me a slice and it was so sweet and juicy.
In the past it had always been yellow peaches. I like the skin of the white peach better.

Thank you so much.😊❤️
I completely agree about the taste and scent! You're right about their skins too. It seems like they're much thinner.
We have a couple other varieties of white peach trees too. But I've got to admit, this ornamental variety produces the sweetest tasting. It's leaves are even nice and showy after the peaches are gone.😃🍑
