I'm so glad I took some pics the weekend before my surgery. However, these Swallowtails are a bit confusing to me. Although it doesn't show up well, the SPICEBUSH does have more of a black green color to it.
One is identified as a SPICEBUSH SWALLOWTAIL & the other as PIPEVINE SWALLOWTAIL.
I've compared the two very closely, but they look very similar to me. They're both really beautiful. It was hard to get these pics because Ruby kept barking them away lol.😃❤️

@cheriere Thank you for sharing your beautiful photographs.
You are very talented and must be very patient to capture these scenes.

Beautiful pics as always. Glad you had time to get out to take them before your surgery.
Hope you are doing well. Take it easy.
I sure would hate to have to do that. I don't think I can do much for mine if when they go. Hopefully they will last as long as I'm here.
My dentist told me I have bone loss in my jaw. Hopefully she's telling me the truth.
She also keeps telling me I need another apicoectomy. I asked my doctor about it. She said my white count would show any infection in my body. My white count is fine.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate you.😃❤️
I pray you're able to keep your teeth as long as possible too. I sure wouldn't wish this on anyone. I guess I was just born with teeth susceptible to disease. I could've probably taken better care of them when I was younger, but I did my best. The last 20 years, I've faithfully WaterPiked, brushed anytime I ate, but it didn't seem to matter.
A lot of these dentists will ALWAYS tell patients they need a bone graft or gum graft. I'm sure some people really need them, but most of the time it's just an unnecessary costly procedure they want to do before implants. I guess I was lucky my surgeon didn't say I needed any on my uppers, which is normally where it's recommended most since it's close to the sinuses.
She did leave a very back tooth on the bottom I asked to be pulled though. It had been broken off, but I'd had a root canal on it years ago so it didn't hurt. It just felt rough, so she ground it down. She said it would help keep the integrity of the bone whenever I was ready for bottom implants.
That may be awhile though. I have all of my bottom teeth except for three in the back on each side. They act like I'm gonna have trouble with them in the future though. That's why they're recommending implants. Since it costs so much, it'll be some time before I can. I guess I'll see how these top ones do before ultimately deciding what I can afford to do.❤️
