Thank you so much for your kind words.  I really appreciate you.😃❤️

I pray you're able to keep your teeth as long as possible too.  I sure wouldn't wish this on anyone.  I guess I was just born with teeth susceptible to disease.  I could've probably taken better care of them when I was younger, but I did my best.  The last 20 years, I've faithfully WaterPiked, brushed anytime I ate, but it didn't seem to matter.

A lot of these dentists will ALWAYS tell patients they need a bone graft or gum graft.  I'm sure some people really need them, but most of the time it's just an unnecessary costly procedure they want to do before implants.  I guess I was lucky my surgeon didn't say I needed any on my uppers, which is normally where it's recommended most since it's close to the sinuses.

She did leave a very back tooth on the bottom I asked to be pulled though.  It had been broken off, but I'd had a root canal on it years ago so it didn't hurt.  It just felt rough, so she ground it down.  She said it would help keep the integrity of the bone whenever I was ready for bottom implants.

That may be awhile though.  I have all of my bottom teeth except for three in the back on each side.  They act like I'm gonna have trouble with them in the future though.  That's why they're recommending implants.  Since it costs so much, it'll be some time before I can.  I guess I'll see how these top ones do before ultimately deciding what I can afford to do.❤️

I had an aunt that lived a few months shy of 100. She didn't have any teeth. The lady that came in to cook & clean made her softer food cut in small pieces so she could gum at it to eat it.

It's no fun going to the dentist to have work done on your teeth. I had to do that when I was younger. Now I take care of them the best I can.

Far as I know your dentist is right leaving the tooth until you do an implant.

Smart move to see how the implants you have work out before moving forward.

DH has all his teeth including his wisdom teeth. I had to have mine cut out because they were trying to come in under my back teeth.

Your aunt kind of reminds me of my grandma.  She wasn't that old and had false teeth, but never wore them unless she was going to town lol.

She could eat anything though, just with her gums.  My grandpa, on the other hand, had all of his teeth.  He probably took less care of them than a five year old would too lol.  That just goes to show how some folks are just destined for teeth troubles.

My best friend has every tooth and maybe five fillings.  However, she doesn't like them because they're crooked and a hit stained.  Shes decided she's getting them pulled and getting dentures.  I've begged her to just get them whitened if they bother her that badly.  She says they're bothering her and wants to get them anyways.

Who knows, I may have to go that route on the bottom eventually if these implants don't work out on top (heaven forbid).  But, I'm gonna keep the ones I have as long as I can.

Your husband is one of the lucky ones with great teeth genes!  How wonderful that must be.😃

I had my wisdom teeth cut out many years ago for the same reason as you.  I hope you have good luck with your teeth. ❤️❤️❤️
