The orioles and the hummingbirds have disappeared

My neighbors across the lake from me said the same thing. Very unusual. We usually have hummers all summer. What's going on? Better meal at another neighbors? Too much insecticide used around here? Bigger predator birds? By the way, this is the first year I've put out an oriole feeder and we had a bunch two months ago.
