For the first time, we built a box and made a vegetable garden this year. It looks amazing and we are very pleased with our results so far.
I planted some mint. My neighbor mentioned it spreads quite a bit. When my BIL said the same thing, I moved it out of the garden and into a container. Wow, I had no idea it was so invasive. In nearly fell into the garden box reaching to get it out. The root system was huge. Thank God I got to it early.
Anybody have this experience? Anything else like this in the herb family I should avoid putting in my box. Lesson learned!!!
