I had one in the house today.  One angry bee!  I managed to shepherd them back outdoors and put the screen in place.

We have lots of bumble bee and carpenter bees.

I've even seen a yellow swallowtail butterfly!

White crocus are one of my favorites.  I love them planted with a red Japanese maple.  

Now the question is, to deadhead or not, the daffodils.  And should I roll back the leaves?  They are so messy once they're done and my columbine is having a miserable year so it's not compensating for the messy foliage.

I'll probably just let them go.  The primary ornamental seems to be the dandelions, right now.  I used to go around and deadhead them in a bag but I can't anymore.  Too fussy and i have other things to do.
