Some spring blooms...

[ Edited ]

Just returned from a road trip to Maine and NH.  Missed a snow storm last Friday.  Nice temps today.  Snow almost gone.  A few pics to bring a taste of Spring to you today.  Enjoy, my gardening friends.  LM

Glorious, @Lilysmom

Crocuses are an all-time favorite of mine.  They do so well in snowy areas.

@GingerPeach, I love them too. A promise of Spring!

The other flower is a Helleborus.  A gift from my sister last year so this is it's first bloom!  Thanks for looking.  LM

@Lilysmom

As a fellow gardener, I know how it feels and for me, too, it IS always heartfelt when a new plant blooms for the first time.  Heart

This is my Lilac bush about 10 days ago.  It's the only pretty bush in my yard but it's situated where no one can see it, in the back corner.  I can't even see it unless I go outside.

This bush has never been watered, pruned or fertilized.  Gets about 7" of water a year.

My lilac bush is blooming also.  I have a big vase of them in my living room.  Love the scent.

Lovely photos, as always.  The crocus and hellebore are beautiful.  I like moss in my shaded gardens and love how your crocus have grown through it.

@ValuSkr, I love the moss too.  I planted some Allium beside the crocus and it looks like they are doing ok as well.  A pretty good winter here although it is giving us a few last kicks.  LM
