The weather is finally starting to cool off; the days are getting shorter and the nights are starting to get cool too.

I'm really excited because I have a bag of bulbs that I'd forgotten about. I have NO idea what they are -- lol! that is SO me! -- and I'm dying to plant them and see what comes up next spring.

I think they MIGHT be crocuses. I'm always glad to see crocuses come up because they're one of the first plants to wake up in the early spring and give me hope that the long, dark, wet days of winter are finally starting to wane and that spring will eventually arrive.

@GoneButNotForgotten

If you are lucky, maybe some of the bulbs are daffodils.  They are my favorite spring flowers.  The downside is that the season for them is too short.

Crocus bulbs are a lot smaller than daffodil bulbs.

Crocus bulbs are about the size of a thumbnail. Daffodils are about the size of an OPI nail polish bottle.
