We are almost finished a lakeside Reno.   A few shots below.

We moved some shrubs and then the heat hit.  Keeping the water to them.  🤞🤞🤞.  Not the right time of year to be doing this but no choice.

We were correcting a water flow issue.  Lots of gravel.  Trying to soften the look.  What do you think?  LM

Very nice! As an aquarium keeper, that big chunk of driftwood in the right aquarium store would cost a fortune. (Hundreds of dollars, maybe even a thousand or more. Driftwood is absurdly priced in the aquarium hobby.)

@Lilysmom1, As I would expect, a lovely renovation.  I love all your plants and gardens, and your accents always add so much interest.

Your place is such a statement to what can be achieved by much dedication and hard work, with unusual accents. So many folks in our area have pretty gardens,  but don’t seem to have many accents.  We have some we really enjoy.

I think it looks great!   Drainage is so important in landscapes.  Your hard work and effort is showing, hope you have a beautiful fall season.  Just to remind you we are going to PEI late October.  Haven't been for many years, really looking forward to it.  I'll wave to you @Lilysmom1  when I go by Smiley Happy

Thnak you once again for the nice photos you share!

@Lilysmom1    Looks like you and dh have accomplished a lit of heavy work.  Its looking good; you should be proud of what you've achieved.  I bet you have some planting left to do.

Anything you do always looks great. Hard to believe our hot summer is winding down. Soon we'll be covering the patio furniture for winter.

@gardenman @the driftwood is a tree root from the wooded part of our property.  I like it.  DH is on the fence.  LM
