I put my feeder out about two weeks ago but haven't seen any hummers yet.  We moved into a new home 4 months ago so perhaps it will take time for them to find the feeder.  Hope it's soon; I am in PA.

We also have other feeders out and many birds have found them.

we have Anna's hummers almost all year. they never eat from a feeder in my yard.  never.  but they graze on the lavender, cat mint, and many other plants i have.  for some reason they are attracted to the Japanese maple too.  i think it is the red leaves.  lol.  i did find out last week that a lady 3 houses down feeds hummernectars all ear.  she said in spring and summer they go through 2 feeders a day!  so they probably eat there and have dessert at my house, and get water out of pond.  we used to have a rope clothes line before we redid back yard.  one little hummer came every day about 4pm and slept, yes I said slept on the line.  i had never in my life seen a hummingbird slow down let alone park himself and nod off for 5-10 mins.  they hover over me  like a drone  when I am on lounge , they are loud....really loud

I still haven't seen any hummers.  PA has had so much rain perhaps they're avoiding us.  I think we will see the sun tomorrow along with temps near 70 so I'll be keeping my eye out for them.  We usually had them in early May at our former home.

We saw our first hummer of the year on Friday afternoon.  Yeah, they finally found us.  I hope he comes back with some friends.  We have a lot of HB friendly flowers so they should return often.
