Fresh flowers all have their own individual life spans. Some last a long time, several weeks. Others, a couple of days. Do your homework and learn about this from books, online, visiting gardens etc.

I don't. They don't last long and it gets costly. Better to have high-quality artificial flowers. That said, I do get the real thing once in a while, for example when I have guests.

I buy a bunch of whatever is in season (cheap) for my desk at work. By Friday, they're done, and so am I!

I buy them once in awhile when I'm at the grocery store. I don't find them expensive at all.

Costco has the best long lasting flowers of any place that I know. That includes Publix where I love to go shop. $14.99 for two dozen roses and the most beautiful shades to pick from.
