Some people just need more money.

That's ridiculous. With all the things going on in the world, celebrities selling things on the Q is way down at the very, very, very, very, very bottom of my "things to worry about" list.

She has a product line which I am not impressed with at all. Who needs letters that light up? More thought should have gone into this line. No purchases from me.

I know that Ellen makes a lot of money buying old Hollywood homes and re-doing them before selling......good for her.

But her items do not seem interesting, or new, or even colorful.....beige, grey, white. Same stuff as usual on QVC.

VPH stuff piled up at the QVC outlets looks much worse than the same items at AC Moore, just so cheap. Not sure why people think her things are nice....garlands and wreaths made in China are everywhere, and less expensive.

I caught a few minutes of the presentation with Ellen and Carolyn "selling" the light-up letters. Oh, what an awkward, painful few minutes! They were both trying to spell other words with the letters to show how "versatile" they could be. Utter failure. Ellen kept trying to come up with "funny" words and there just were none to be made.

It seemed as if Ellen were a little embarrassed and on the verge of making fun of the product. I could almost feel Carolyn's desperation and imagined her thinking "OMG Ellen, don't go there! You are not helping!"

I like Ellen but she was trying way too hard to be funny. If she had just promoted her products with an occasional joke it might have been a better show. I felt sorry for Carolyn. She was trying to keep the hour going and Ellen just made it worse for her.

I think Ellen is a sweet, kind and generous person but this show was an epic fail. The products were dull and so was Ellen. There's no way in hades she worked 2 years to bring in those items. Maybe 2 minutes at the most.

{#emotions_dlg.blink} I guess of all the things she sold, the light up letters are what confused me the most. Why? Are those some kind of new trend and I am just old and don't get it? What are they for? Why would one want that in their home? Does Ellen have these in her home or something?

IMO someone badly advised Ellen on this line.
