Do you want a stylish coat or a practical coat?

Right now Dennis Basso is selling a great reversible coat that is quite warm.  It has snaps, not zippers. I purchased it last year, and wore it all Winter, including to the Colorado mountains, and stayed quite warm. I really like the faux fur as it is quite cozy.

I have another coat from Dennis Basso that I bought previously which is even warmer, and I wear that coat when the temperatures go negative. It does not zip either. Those coats are very pretty and a bit on the fancy side (like me!).

If you are looking for super warm coats, then you will have to consider down, or a man-made similar material. There are many super warm coats sold for snowboarders and skiiers, but they almost all zip up. They are extremely practical. Usually they can be a bit plain, but there are wilder versions available.

I also have some very long and warm wool/alpaca coats that button up which I wear for more formal occasions, but I would not use them on a daily basis.
