I have an oval shape face so it is easy for me to wear glasses of any style, but I much prefer either the Elton John look or the Iris Apfel.  No inbetween for me.  I go big or go tiny.  I wear high-index prism lenses so I usually get small sunglasses and large eyeglasses.  High-index prrism lenses are expensive and more so by the large size but since I wear the sunglasses less time, I choose small and for daily wear, wear large. Maybe I am the dork for wanting very expensive and glamorous glasses with such poor vision.
