When Watching a Fashion Presentation. . .

. . . are you more comfortable with a host who would possibly wear the clothes, or a host you know would never wear what she is presenting? I'm not including hosts who claim to have all of the clothes, although I do think some do, and some are just like us and genuinely like some of the lines here.

Personally I'm more comfortable with a host who is enthused about the clothes and one whom I can see wearing what she is presenting. Just me. I'm sure others will say it doesn't matter. Smiley Happy

  I want a host who knows enough to give me details of the garment.

Leah does a great job with that.   Others are too busy being a "personality".

If I went into a store in the mall and had something in mind I wanted to purchase, I couldn't care less what the sales person wore. Just me. I perfer just to choose for me, by me.  Guess the same goes for what the person selling on t.v. tells me.

I prefer the hosts who are like me; middle aged, with real sized figures who I think really would wear the clothes they are presenting.  I'm 57 and I've been with the Q almost from day 1.  When it comes to fashion, my favorite hosts are Leah, Jane, Jayne, Carolyn, Antonella and Mary Beth.

While all those hosts you mentioned are just lovely....not a single one has a body shape even close to mine!

It doesn't matter to me who is hosting.

While it would definitely help if they had models my shape and size...that will never happen!

I am 5'3", short torso, VERY long legs, shaped like a tree trunk (meaning no real waist), flat butt (not even WWC helps my butt)... size small!  LOL

While short I never wear petites, quite often grab the tall pants....

Can you imagine finding another one of those to demo clothes for me?!!

On tv since I am not there in person I really enjoy seeing the hosts in the piece and different size models wearing the piece, tall, short , curvy to give some idea of what it would look like on me.  Being in a store is different you can try on the piece.  I also like for them to say what size each person is wearing including the host.

It doesn't matter to me if the host is wearing it.

They have models so I can get an idea of the length or how it actually looks on a person.

@software

I totally agree with you!!  These so-called "personalities" are the exact reason I am watching much less QVC.

Re: When Watching a Fashion Presentation. . .

I don't watch any shows with hosts presenting clothing. I go to my local stores and pick out what looks the best on me. I stopped the shopping channels many years ago.
