What is that black thing hanging down in the front of her?

I just flipped through the channels, and briefly saw Colleen. She looks lovely, as usual, in a black dress with a red rose pattern. I didn't notice any "black thing hanging down"(?)

What are you talking about, I don`t see anything but her dress and a tiny necklace.

I saw her before the camera moved back and it was unclear whether she was wearing pants or a dress. There is a black semi-rectangular vertical panel down the front of her dress with the rose patterned fabric on either side of it. Do you not see the panel? Looks very odd to me and appears even more odd when the camera is closer to her and stops at the bottom edge of the panel.

Yes I do see what you are talking about but I think it`s just the print design of her dress, it looks as if it`s one piece to me. When she moves around I don`t see anything moving or loose down at the bottom looks as if it`s just the print on the bottom of her dress, although I could be wrong

It is a beautiful dress, though I do think that the panel is odd.

It's a placement print on black and the placement print at the bottom forms a V shape which is very slimming. IMO, it's a cute dress and the placement print does what it is intended to do - gives a slimming shape.

I was flipping through channels and although not interested in a new TV, Colleen's dress made me come to stop for a better look. I liked the dress.

Oldfoogey, for those of us who know nothing about sewing, (even if you aren't into their clothes), you can learn a lot about clothing construction and the tailoring terms by watching a little Bob Mackie, Louis Dell Olio, and George Simonton.

Colleen did that dress as part of her My Favorite Things Collection but the flowers were a different color. She said that dress she had on would be part of her MFT on March 25.

There is nothing hanging on the dress. It's just a knit dress, that I think is a rayon/spandex blend, with a floral placement print.
