I don't know any grown adult women who are that small. My 10 year old cousin might be.

I was very lucky to have my mom alter what we bought, and she made a lot of my clothes as well...Boy did I ever take my beautiful mother for granted back then...Alsowhen shopping, I don't remember finding many clothes under a petite size 5 or 3 back in the 60's/70's...haven't seen too many out there today but then, I'm not looking for that size now!

Why you eat a biscuit, of course! Or a couple.

You have your clothes tailored. I was best friends with my tailor back in the day when petites were not available. Thank goodness petites and plus sizes are everywhere now.

This is slightly OT, but this reminds me of the time I walked into a very elegant Japanese boutique, asking how much that gorgeous dress was on the mannequin .... and she asked me what size I was.
Apparently, the dress cost $800 for sizes 0, 2, 4 and 6. If you were larger than a size 6 the dress cost even more because they needed "much more material" to make it! I think the size 10 was $1,000. I don't remember what she said .... because her comments shocked me! I'd never heard of this!

Don't turn sideways...or they won't be able to find you! That's what they said to me in high school...

My smallest was a 6. At 45, I've been in the 8-10 range, for the last decade.
I'm a Diettian, but, I have no problem, admitting I like to eat 🙃
As the metabolism slows down, I'll be having to work harder, to stay where I am. So, not an issue for me🤓

Jokes aisde...you wear 00. Or negative 2. Yes there are woman very short that wear this size. My neice does. She's 4'11" and a size 00. Nothing wrong with her, I have one student worker who is that size. Both these woman are in their 20's and healthy. Several Asian students are that size. I used to wear that.

I bet Susan Lucci is less than 0. Small frame, petite...it looks okay on her. When I was very ill, a while back, my weight plummeted down to 90. I did not feel good at all. Looked like the living dead, all sunk-in. Now I am a healthy weight, not overweight, and I feel wonderful. One thing that never came back was my caboose...
.
When I lean against a wall, facing the wall....please don't mistake me for an ironing board!
...LOL!![]()
