We are going fancy.  I'm wearing a black gown, strappy sandals, black evening bag, carrying a black with gold threads shawl,  and my best gold jewelry.

I'm going to the recliner. In fact, I'm already in it!

I'm wearing a pair of old, "go no further than the mailbox in them" black leggings from Talbots that are at least 5 years old. Hmm.... maybe they're Danskin. Don't know. 

Paired with them is a pair of the "World's softest socks" that I got from Amazon last month in a lovely oatmeal color. For anyone who might be interested in them, they really are the world's softest socks. Great socks. Gave many pairs for Christmas gifts. 

I'm wearing an oversized pink Olivia knit tunic top that I bought on clearance at J Jill yesterday. 

To round out my ensemble, I have a pair of double strap Birkenstock's that I use for Slippers.  They look oh so lovely with the socks. 

I am a true vision.

I don't like New Year' Eve and I never have, but MANY years ago, I had a very special New Year's date, the first time I ever went out with DH!

He was being installed as the mayor of his community, and. felt VERY special to be accompanying him!

THIS YEAR, I will stay home by my vaporizer and take my antibiotic.😩

Actually DH will wear a suit, and being it will be twenty degrees, I'll have on a Bob Mackie fleece jacket and black pants.  We'll be home early enough to break out some bubbly and watch the activities in NYC.

Just sitting in and relaxing tonight with tv and some snackies. I bought my favorite Moscato wine (in red) last night. Went to Wegmann's this morning (gosh, I love that store!) and picked up some already-cooked shrimp. Bought some tomato pie too and have some chips and dip and I'm good to go! I guess I'm going formal tonight since I'm all in black. I'm wearing my Joan Rivers' black leggings tucked in my cozy comfy black Ugg boots. A very, very oversized black sweatshirt to top off the look. No fancy jewels tonight since I couldn't get to the bank in time to get them out of the vault. ;0 LOL!

So funny, my partner wanted to see a movie then have dinner out tonight. We never go out on NYE.  Decided to go out to breakfast this morning and then get some grocery shopping done. 

We get home and he decides let's see the movie tomorrow and I've made chicken divan since I had to use up some broccoli. 

Saw an awsome concert on my tablet a few new years ago. Adam Lambert with Queen.....out of London.
