My closet has evolved over the years. Work went from dress attire to business casual to casual. Each change caused challenges. Everything is good now. No issues with colors.

I don't have problem with color or design for fashions. What gives me trouble is home decorating.

I do not have any color challenges. I know what goes well together and I know what colors look good on me. That being said, I am not a believer in the "everything goes with everything" theory and personally am not going to wear loud, screaming "look at me" clothing. I am not looking for attention. I prefer people see "me", not the outfit. I prefer classic clothing, anytime I leave the house.
@Snicks1,Do we know where "everything goes with everything" started? It's too broad of a statement, wrong in the literal sense, and very confusing to people.

Me too. No challenges with color or styles.
bless your heart girls, i give you a lot of credit. i'm size 4 or a small and if i wear a lot of color i feel very uncomfortable. i admire women who go for it. my color choices have been strictly for the gym lately. @Mj12 i don't have a problem with styles, but my favorite color is black and other morbid shades. no reflection on my personality though!
You feel uncomfortable in color because you like black and the darker tones....which are colors. So, you definitely do colors....you do the ones you like.

Jumping in here to say I think this statement is meant to only get people to think outside the box. To experiment with colors they might normally not try. Of course not everything goes with everything , but some color combos that were previously frown ed upon are quite attractive. Navy and black or red and pink come to mind. It's all in the tones and how you put them together.
Women need to stop being slaves to some "rules" that may be rooted in antiquity

I spent an hour making outfits for her and showing her how to create a shape.
Her loving husband was very patiently showing her a few combinations.
Do you have color or design areas that give you a headache?
My issue is I love patterns. I have very few solid colors. I did purchase a couple of solid color maxis from HSN. I lover earth tones. Most of my clothes have flowers. I do like solid color jeans etc.

Loving my orange and brown today. I like to take color from nature. The colors of the earth.
I have a shape that I can't change (thin with hips) so I've gotten past trying to "illusion" that. I just don't like tight things, never have.
