Me too. No challenges with color or styles.
bless your heart girls, i give you a lot of credit. i'm size 4 or a small and if i wear a lot of color i feel very uncomfortable. i admire women who go for it. my color choices have been strictly for the gym lately. @Mj12 i don't have a problem with styles, but my favorite color is black and other morbid shades. no reflection on my personality though!

I spent an hour making outfits for her and showing her how to create a shape.
Her loving husband was very patiently showing her a few combinations.
Do you have color or design areas that give you a headache?
Is it possible that she just didn't like the color fuschia? No matter who told me to wear fuschia ...it truly is out of my comfort zone. Some people like their clothing to take a back seat to their appearance and prefer softer shades and less look at me colors.
I don't really have any problems with putting clothing together. I am a minimalist and only have a few really good pieces of clothing that I wear frequently. The criteria for me to add something to my wardrobe is that I have to love it. It has to be impeccably made and stand up to laundering. I send out my shirts to be washed and ironed but I rarely wear anything polyester, so silk, cotton and linen always come out better when sent to the cleaners than when I wash and iron them....
Love your topics @ECBG. I really enjoy them.
@Trinity11, Thank you so much for your kind complement.
I am seeing so many ladies that are miserable when they buy clothes.
No, she liked fushia, she just sincerely had no clue on how to wear it. She loved everything I put together for her.
So many of us have grown up reading magazines and studying pictures, noticing what is shown in movies, and creating outfits from a young age. I didn't get the idea that that was part of her story
About five years ago, I went to a new friend's house to help her create outfits. We went through her closet, took some things out, then went to Marshalls which was close. We were able to get some nice Ralph Lauren basic items.
We went back to her house and I literally put outfits together and she wrote them down on a legal pad.

@ladyroxanne I just read on another thread you've been in the hospital - that IS a big deal, I know from experience.
We have much in common. PLEASE take care of yourself.

I am a very small size, and I'm very short, but I love to wear colors. (probably compensating for my stature!) : )

I like color but unless fuchsia was in the black print, I would not grasp putting it together either. When I wear a print, the solid I use to complete the outfit needs to be featured in the print.

i adore you @Mj12 really, really.
thank you for your very kind words and i'm doing my best. i'm wishing you all the best and you are definitely not small in stature in my mind!

I think that olive can be a tricky color, although I have found a few olives that I like this season.
These are actually more of an olive shade-
And these-

@lolakimono,Olive is a difficult collor, and is the number one color for causing a sallow tone to the skin. If I wear it, (and it would be only on the bottom), the olive would be much more blue based.
I do like to see the deep olives with white, navy, and black. Olive really doesn't match anything (other than neutrals in my closet).

Dear Hoosieroriginal,
I admire your courage. In my country most people stare at you literally. We do not even have this verb, furthermore everyone knows that is rude.
It took me a while to be less worried about what others might think. To start with no one thinks anymore.
Being shy is not easy and sometimes we might increase our bruised self steem
when we dress well🌻I find bright colors such as yellow, orange, red difficult. Love them in other people for me is just the opposite black, grey, white, blue, purple, beige, pink is the further I can go.

No color challenges for me. I love color and I am pretty fearless in experimenting with color both in my clothing and my home decor.
