I'm sure you look great in your outfits! I think bright colors and navy look sharp with white jeans or pants. Sometimes I get tired of wearing black or navy with white, and I wear a brighter color top instead. It can be fun & lift my spirits. ☀️

All neutral outfits are so chic! I bet you look fabulous in those! I need to try that once in awhile. I seem to always reach for a colorful print with my lighter color pants instead of doing tone on tone neutrals.

I think your light color story with neutrals sounds very chic! I'm sure you look fabulous! 

I only own one pair of lighter wash jeans. I wear more medium and dark washes.

Like you, I wear white tees for layering when it's cold, and I have some deeper color tees and sweaters for colder weather. I love red any time of year!

I can't remember where, but years ago some beauty editor caused a real ruckus when she said wearing white (as opposed to ivory) often made your teeth look yellow.  Horrors!    

That day I took everything white in my closet, held it up to a mirror and smiled.  She was right, and I donated the whites.  Ivory is better for a lot of complexions ... and teeth.

Wearing a tank top under a long sleeved blouse is such a nice look. Sounds like you have lots of possible outfit combinations. I'm sure you look great in all of them!

I always layer a cardigan, jacket, or blazer over my tank tops. I'm not a neon color person either.

I wear black in the summer too. I like to wear my light weight black pants or my white jeans with black printed tops.

Coral, turquoise, and yellow are beautiful colors this time of year. I have a yellow and white stripe top I like to wear with a white jean jacket and blue jeans.

You make some excellent points.

Sometimes as we age we might need different colors or hues due to changes in our skin and hair. Sounds like you've figured out what looks best on you. I'm sure you look wonderful in your colors and outfits! 

I've read a bit and watched a couple videos on matching your low, medium, or high contrast coloring with outfits that have the same contrast. Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to look into that more.
