Me either! I own nothing white ... a couple pieces in ivory or bone, but not white. LOL ![]()

Also this is year round for me.
Enjoy your beach trip!
Pastel pink and ivory is a very soft and pretty combination.
I'm sure you look lovely in those colors.
Thanks for the beach trip wishes. It's been an annual family trip for over 30 years. The only years we didn't go were 2020 & 2021 during the worst of COVID. 👎🏻

When my daughter lived in fl for awhile, everyone seemed to wear bright, colorful, lots of prints.
I used to wear black, navy, and silver greys and white all the time
but that is when I lived up north.
If you live in NY, I think that is a lot what we see.
Though my aunt in CA also wears blacks and greys.
I always like what you wear
How nice that you wear bright colors all year! Such happy fun colors! Bright colors can perk me up on a gloomy day.
I tend to see lots of bright colors and prints when we vacation in Florida, but that might be because the area we visit is a resort location. I've also heard that people in NY wear a lot of black, but there are probably exceptions. I've never been there.
Thank you for the compliment on my outfits.
Have a Wonderful Day!

That makes sense. If I lived in a place where the weather was similar all year, I'd probably do the same. I'd definitely have fewer clothes. I don't like white underwear either.

I was born in NYC, grew up in Southern Florida and yes I still will always love black --- but here it comes - only on some. I have so many new black quality jackets that just sit there in the closet. I look at them sometimes and admire. People think I look good in black but I feel washed out. Plus I am fair skinned with easy blushing. I do love a true navy blue and only found one in years that I do enjoy.
With that said ahhh....the "red". One of my favorites @wilma however, with this heat now I just don't even think that looks good against my skin. There always has to be a white collared backdrop for it to work.
But I do love a true lipstrick red, navy, and black forever!
I know you look lovely in your outfits from the photos you've posted!
I think whites and pastels look very pretty in warm weather. Red and black are definitely polarizing colors. I like both, but I know others think true red is too bright and black is too harsh. I've never had my colors done. I just wear the colors I like.
I'm not as fair as you. I have blue eyes, and I highlight my dark blonde hair. I think my fair skin tends to be a bit warm or neutral.

I look TERRIBLE in pastels. I need vivid colors. I also love black - even in summer.
I'm sure you look wonderful in your vivid colors!
I've tried pastels, and most just aren't for me. Maybe the warmth in my fair skin doesn't work well with them? I'm not a color expert. I just wear what I like. I love black too. I like wearing my black pants and black printed tops. I have a black and white printed dress that I love!

I like bright colors--not neon--but I always wear jeans of some color on the bottom---but have many, many tank tops in many colors and patterns-- then throw a long sleeved white or other neutral blouse over top as a light weight jacket---will NOT show my flabby arms--ever-- and also am completely flat chested so it kind of camoflages that too. Will save the darker colors for later in the year.

I still wear black in the summer. A favorite would be a black scoop neck (ballet neck) Pima cotton tee shirt with a pair of white capris. Black accessories.
I do wear a lot of peachy pink coral, sea blue and icy pink in the summer. I use cream colored accessories with those shades. 💐

I like bright colors, more in autumnal shades. I never wear bright white, pink, navy, or purple. I love winter white and often that was the color I would choose for a winter coat.
Being in a tropical setting for close to 8 months a year, I see a lot of bright, floral prints in clothing. I have a few pieces in my wardrobe, too.
All said and done, I have a huge section in my closet of black. I have it sectioned off for example all sleeveless together, all long sleeves, sweaters, blazers, dusters, etc. I have them in order of color, too. The majority in each section is black.
Don't get me started on my jean section.........
I will say one thing about that, they are all boot cut. I don't own a crop, ankle, or straight leg in the bunch. I guess I am just an old hippie.....
I love that you wore the same colors even when you lived in a colder climate. Sometimes I think people expect others to dress in certain colors for different seasons or climates. That's what got me thinking about this because my sister doesn't understand why I'm taking black to the beach. She knows how I dress, and we taken this trip numerous times, so I'm not quite sure why she's so surprised.
I like winter white too! I had a wool coat in that shade years ago. Sounds like your black pieces are well organized. I like to keep my clothes organized by color and garment type.
Sounds like you have a good collection of jeans. I won't ask how many. 😉 I'm sure you look great in them!
I wear jeans almost daily since retiring. I own mostly bootcut and straight leg styles.
Have a Wonderful Day!
