Ken Burns' Roosevelt series was playing from 8 to 10 last night, so I skipped PMS. Often I tune in during commercials on whatever else I'm watching. No commercials, no PMS. Works well for me.

Quite the contrary, I thought last night's series of fashion shows, including PMS, was one of the best I've seen in a long time. There were many new designers, and I think the only "beauty" product was the TSV. Sadly, I dozed off during IM's show, and I had really wanted to see that, only to wake up to another boring shoe show! After that was the new Basso TSV, which I am not interested in, so I fell asleep for good after that one started.
I don't mind the laughter and fun times. I think it would be boring to try to have a serious "runway" type of show for three/four hours. I like it when the hosts, vendors, and models kid around a little. It doesn't take away from selling the fashions, IMO.

I didn't watch QVC when she was on, but I always see people posting positive things about her. Why did Kathy Levine leave? I saw her in the group photo from Joan's funeral last week. It was nice to see a face attached to the name.

I really believe that Kathy Levine would face a lot of negativity/criticism, just as the current hosts do, if she were a host in this day of social media/forums/etc.

I laughed myself later when Shawn and Isaac were bantering . It's Rick and Jill I turn off. Courtney's wedding stuff is wearing on my last nerve but she's delightful in my humble opinion. Being able to laugh when the joke is on you is a pleasant characteristic. Didn't think LR could take it. I have a slightly improved opinion of her after tonight. Being able to carry on after the horrible bashing she's taken is admirable.sounds like I missed all the fun. Now I'm curious to learn what happened. The only silly part I saw was the French Terry dance Courtney and SG did.... now that was kind of weird....but they are just having fun! Good for them!!! No harm done.
I agree TK. And nothing really happened. Some folks just seem to like to dish PM Style, Lisa and Courtney... And while I'll agree a little of Courtney can sometimes go a long way, if all they did was present the merchandise with a consistently straight face, it would get pretty humdrum pretty fast. Personally, while there are occasions when they need to know where to draw the line, I'd rather see them mixing it up and having a good time than being reduced to tears of boredom...
I also noted Shawn and Issac had another giggle-fest going last night and I thought that was fun too, and apparently, so did the models.
And yes, CoG, I agree, I consistently turn Jill and Rick off too...

Nicole cooly said "I believe I have my Mom jeans on right now and I'm very comfortable". Yeah for Nicole!
Oh yeah, I saw that part. I couldn't believe Courtney would say something like that, when Nicole clearly was wearing jeans!!!!!
I thought Nicole handled that ridiculous question from Courtney quite well. And at the end, she summed it up pretty well - just wear what makes you feel good.
Courtney=open mouth, insert foot. It happens way too often with her.
