@1Professor I'm sorry you were disappointed in your jeans. Mine arrived today and I love them! The only thing is, I think I should have gone down 1 size from a 12 to a 10 or should have got the petite. I'm 5'2" but need a longer rise so got the regular. I want to wash them in hot and hope they shrink a little, but I'm scared. I took some pics and in them they are rolled again from the original roll. My sequin smiley face is so cute and you can tell its a smiley in person I have them on with my Logo black gauze shirt and a pair of Earth sandals, I also got today. I'm still waiting on my mesh top and light denim jacket. PS....I take awful pics, sorry.

@1Professor Sorry that everything did not work out. I am still waiting on my hoodie.
@sunsetbeach I think the jeans look really cute on you.

@sunsetbeach You CAN see the smiley on yours.
I even asked some neighbors what they could see; just a sequin circle, until your face is inches away, then you can see eyes, but no smile.
Congratulations, except for fit!
They are still available, though, nothing sold out . . .

Thanks @1Professor . Maybe I lucked out with the smiley face. If I decide to wash them and they shrink a bit, I will keep them. They are my first "boyfriend" jean, I have to agree with you, they are incredibly soft. I just got a notification that my mesh top shipped, so I hope to have it soon.

Congratulations on your happy purchases @1Professor!
If the pants don't make me happy, I would send them back.
For well under $100, I think you should be able to find a seamstress to make you a sequined happy face patch that you can then apply to your jeans! You can get flat "sequin string" from amazon or etsy (pictures below) and take it to your seamstress. Show her the pants first to ask her if she would try to make such a thing, and why you re unhappy with the ones you have, and once it's a go, buy the sequins.
For $11 you can buy these 12 rolls of 5 yds each at Amazon

Another example, you can get these at $1.25/yard on etsy:

Many other choices available, just wanted to give you an idea.
Have fun!

@1Professor You could send back the jeans and purchase plain jeans and sew the smiley face on them. They have some unique smiley faces on Amazon. They are inexpensive.

@1Professor Just thought I would add, you may be able to get a smiley face at a trimmings store. Of course Amazon and etsy carry them in iron on patches too!
These are 2 for $5; only 3.6"in Amazon

They come in all these colors:

Etsy has a set of 9 for $12.95.

Maximum smiley face: 3.5 in (About)
Small smiley face: 1.7 in (About)
Minimum smiley face: 2.2 in (About)
You can shop around and see if you find something that works.

@NYCLatinaMe Fabulous specific ideas, thanks!
The problem with doing this to the LOGO Smiley jeans is that, as I mentioned, the sequin patch is on a HOLE, not on top of material.
You'd have remove the patch (very tightly stitched) which weakens the edges of the remaining hole. I was a seamstress. If I could have removed the patch, I would have.
Your suggestions would be great on another pair of jeans, adding a fun Smiley patch.
Part of me, though, likes to honor Smiley World by using the original drawn Smiley . . .
