I think we're somewhat on the same page with the cardi...I'm not a big fan, especially the fly away (I don't own any!) and the button up (sometimes they remind me of my grandpa's sweaters!), BUT (and it's a big but LOL) this LDO cardi worked for transitional wear, and I was willing to take a chance on it because it's LDO. I'm with you on the jackets...I prefer to roll my (long) sleeve a few times...not a fan of short sleeve jackets. I have a few 3/4 sleeve unstructured jackets.

I love a short-sleeved jacket when the weather's warmer. It can pull an outfit together.

I like the pintuck shells. Where can those be found?

(Are the plaid shirts actually bathrobes?)

Thanks for starting this thread.

Here in the DC area, I find that transitional pieces make up the majority of my year here most years, so I am always on the hunt for things I can wear during these 2 seasons.

If I didn't just spend a fortune on my car and house repairs, I would be at the mall right now for that pink moto jacket. That is my color and my style.

You got me all excited when you mentioned shells!

I believe a shell is sleeveless, that's my understanding, and when I look it up I haven't found a definition (yet) but the pics are all sleeveless tops...

I just found this:

a. A usually sleeveless and collarless, typically knit blouse.

b. A thin, usually waterproof or windproof outer garment for the upper body.
