ninjasmom,

Aren't they just the best??{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

They truly are. I am a sheet snob and I have spent a lot more money on sheets that are not nearly this nice. Only problem is that it is hard to get out of bed!

I haven't had pilling problems with sheets I have purchased from QVC. The pilling issues I've had with sheets are the ones I've purchased from JCPenney in the past. Those were cotton. I haven't owned any microfiber sheets. I think a lot of it has to do with what type of washing machine you have and what setting you wash your sheets on. If you have them on high spin, it may increase the pilling issues. Just a thought.

I had a brand new microfiber sheet on the bed and it pilled in two days. I have had my new 100% cotton sheets on just as long and they are still pill free.

I will see what happens down the road

Re: Totally OT - pilling sheets

The last 2 sets I bought were Canopy brand 400 TC 100% Egyptian cotton from Wal-Mart & Hotel Collection from Sam's that are 600 TC 100% Egyptian cotton. Both are very nice, not piling & comfy. The set from Sam's came with 4 pillowcases & has a True Grip bottom fitted sheet. Previously I had bought a set from Q that was piling so I returned them. Have not bought sheets from Q since.

We bought a king size bed not long ago, and my DH is very picky about how sheets feel. I spent a fortune on 3 sets of high end sheets..one of which was microfiber, one bamboo and one egyptian cotton. They never stayed on the bed, bottom sheet always came loose, they all pilled in a very short time and I was beside myself. I was looking for new sheets and came upon 100% cotton sheets from target. I stopped and read the reviews. They were "Threshold ultra soft sheets" and many of the reviews said how soft they were and how they stayed on the bed. I ordered a set to try. They are truly amazing the way they fit, the way they feel, and how they wash. They are only 300 thread count, but for me, they are the best sheets I have bought in forever and they didn't break the bank. They have little tags on the inside saying "side" "top" etc and a wide elastic band that holds the sheets in place no matter what. I am more pleased than I can say. Might try them?

Their Threshold sheets are very good quality for the money. I have purchased them for dorm sheets for DD and they work just fine. Great if you don't want to spend a lot on sheets.

I just bought my first set of sheets from Target, I really should not say set, since they sell, sheets and pillowcases separetly, and so far so good )

Re: Totally OT - pilling sheets

I have micro-fiber sheets that I purchased from Stein-Mart. They were not expensive and have never pilled, they are several years old. They do not sleep hot, just the opposite they are thin and 'cool'. I have turned several friends onto these sheets.
