They added pockets.

I couldn't agree more. Jackie Gonzales (forgive the spelling if incorrect ) just said she purchased all colors and patterns and plans to live in this contraption for the duration. She "test drove" a pair and received many compliments. She couldn't have chosen a more disastrous silouhette. The waist band is too tight and creates rolls of flesh where there shouldn't be any , above and below . The pockets of her skirted leggings bulge from her hips making her appear hippy when she's actually top heavy and short waisted, not particularly hippy. Too tight around the middle , the garment creates a pouch and bulges, front and back. The skirt rides up in the back making the whole outfit look too tight, too short, ill proportioned, sloppy.
Afterall , she's been working hard on regaining her figure. I personally think she's a delightful host, bright, congenial, well spoken. I wonder if her "light" is what drove her colleagues to lead her on. Why ? If someone is truly favorably disposed toward you they ought to be frank about fashion disasters, don't you think? If only to remind her that HD TV often spreads the body out across the screen shouldn't someone have stepped in to help her avoid embarassment ?
She deserves better proportion/construction in a garment and better friends.
She's already said she doesn't read the community forums because people are often unkind. Wish there were a way to ask her to change her top to a long tunic like the models and hosts (even the rail-thin ones) have done.

Yes, that's what's bothering me. The back hem is shorter. Very cute for petite women, but on myself, not so much. I'd purchase a much longer length in the very cute prints. Edited to add that I'd like to see more teens around here wearing skirted tights/leggings instead of non-skirted tights/leggings. Some figures need a bit of coverage, IMO.

I have these from the last time they were a TSV and they are really cute. Haven't worn them in a while they are more fall and winter for me. I will try not to buy another pair today.

I bought two pairs in black the last time they had a TSV. I've already written about the warmth of the fabric/layers, but I forgot to mention the horror of washing this contraption.
It doesn't have a built in waist....hard to describe, but if it turns inside out, it is a nightmare to try and get it folded and lay flat. It is an odd construction. I will keep them for next winter, but they are an odd idea for sure! Just stick with leggings/yoga pants w/ a long tunic-same end result, and a whole lot less complicated!!

MountainBikeGirl: I was thinking the exact same re: a long tunic over leggings. For me, anyway. I have very long legs, and the skirt seems much too short (especially in the back) for gallivanting around in my area. Gee, I dislike to be negative; I'm guessing that the petite gals, perhaps wearing the Reg. length, the skirt won't be too short. Just thinking out loud, as usual...........![]()
