I don't tuck any more!  I used to have a flat washboard stomach and I always tucked my tops and blouses in.  Now, my stomach, though not horrible, is not the greatest and I am self-conscious about it.  

I like the half tuck thing --- I think it's really cute.  But I know it's not something that is flattering on me.

Well, I never thought of an untucked or half tucked shirt as sloppy.  Sometimes I tuck tops into my jeans but only when I am wearing a jacket or cardigan.  Yes, I always wear a belt when I do that.  I would never do it without a belt.   I have never done the half tuck thing.  That's just not me.  I don't have a problem with the look, I like it on other women.

That's my preferred tuck, exactly.

I don't do a full tuck, but would consider it with a retro higher waisted pant and a good belt.  Half tucks don't work with that kind of pant.  The waistband has to sit just below the belly button to have a half tuck work.  IMO.
