@Greeneyedlady21 Periwinkle is hard to get because it's the mix of blue and violet.  All of the terciary (double name colors blue-violet) are hard to get for this reason.

Many people have a problem seeing the color calling it "blue" or "purple".

I ran into visual perception issues reguarding color quite a bit teaching about colors.

It is one of those colors you can't really define.  If it says it is Periwinkle, it can be blue or more lavender/purple.

I always have liked that color...I ordered, many years ago, a cropped shirt and pant set from SPIEGEL catalog...in that color.  I loved that outfit!

I have always been drawn to periwinkle, but didn't own anything in that color until recently. I have a very good friend who has her own clothing and accessories store in Naples, FL. I was on her website and saw the prettiest periwinkle tee shirt. I kept going back and looking at it,knew I had to own it, and ordered it. I love it! It's a very flattering color and I think it would look good on everyone. So glad I ordered it. It's almost a neutral color. Looks nice with navy, grey, white, black,denim.

Periwinkle is the first color i tried on and thought, this does not look good on me.  I was a teenager. I don't know why I remember this. It's a great color but not for me.
