If you want a good discussion of greenwashing, look up Justine Leconte, graduate of Parsons School of Design with Tim Gunn; she's excellent.

I am at a point where I would rather have one sweater that I really like and that I feel will last for several years than have a load of questionable cheap clothing🤷‍♀️

I like to look for jewelry, mostly earrings and bracelets, in unique shops or second hand...thrill of the hunt type of thing.

I love fashion but I too would rather only have one sweater than to KNOWINGLY buy from anyone that has questionable practices especially when it comes to child labor. Now that would be a real reason to not sleep at night

Anything I have seen from both companies looks like basement fashion, I would also be worried about sizing and return policies, if there are any

A lot of influencers buy from Shein because their followers want a cheap price point, not looking at quality.

I've never ordered from Temu, but the people that I know that have ordered have been very pleased.  Good quality products.

I shop Amazon, but only buy if it states, "Sold by Amazon, ships from Amazon".

I won't buy anything from another party.
