I just received my catalogue in the mail. What I really dislike about Talbots is how they play around with their prices. It is annoying and I don't have the time to be chasing down the lowest price. It's a game with them and annoying....

@crawford5153. Just now got a post card about black Friday and yes the discounts will appear in your shopping bag online. The 50% off is til noon your time. The Tartan bag GWP is only in stores.

Also T will be debuting a limited edition Tartan Collection

So I went to Ts last might to try on the lavender coat. It is a no-go for me. The collar is much too high and stiff and the wool was a little itchy. Now I have my eye on a same color beautiful chenille sweater. I'm loving that shade of purple for winter....definitely cheery. And I love an off-white hat with crystal snowflakes on it.

@Pearlee   Thank you for mentioning the lavender stadium coat.  I've had my eye on it and am waiting for Black Friday.  I love the color and love the red one as well.  The neck will work but based on your comments, I am worried it will be itchy!  I'll have to take a look at the sweater you mentioned because I adore the color as well.

My blazer is going back to Talbots. The sleeves are cut so strange it feels like a straight jacket...

I couldn't beleive it was delivered today by the PO...It wasn't packed in a box as prevoius jackets were ,and it is a bit creased..It is made in Jordan ,so if you have something with strange sleeves, remember Viet Nam and now jordan. The shoulders looked strange too

Sorry it didn't work for you, @cherry , but I wouldn't discount all items from Jordan just based on one bad experience.
