Sleeves are  becoming a bit problematic at Talbot's. Knowing  what countries are making these items, might help others  when it comes to purchasing   a desired garment

Having to return things is a nuisance. This is not a Talbot's Aberdeen blazer, so I am giving those interested a heads up

So I got an email from T. Black Fri starts tomorrow for Talbots cardholders. Mon, Tues and Wed also we can get 50% off one item (not just til noon) and 40% off everything else online and in stores. So you folks going out of town start shopping tomorrow. However the gift with purchase only applies Friday. You can use that 50% off one item twice per day, in store and online (or more times if you go to multiple stores).

I briefly stopped by the Talbots closest to me after lunch today. 

With the 50% off one item, I bought the last pair of the cubic zirconia stud earrings. I've bought several pairs of these for gifts lately. 

I looked around briefly as I'm still not feeling well from being sick two weeks ago.  I will say this, I'm not a pin wearer, but Talbots has the most beautiful holiday pins out right now. They had them all attached to a board and displayed right when you walk in the door and I stopped to look. They're gorgeous.

I agree!  (and I think I mentioned that above too.  I'm super impressed with the holiday pins as well as other pieces of the new jewelry.  

I was at a store today and, because the lavender coat did not work out for me, I bought with my 50% off a similarly colored (a little deeper purple than the coat) long sleeved chenille sweater.  It is sold out online so I can't show it to you. It's a gorgeous color though and super soft as chenille is and warm too, but not bulky (I was afraid it would be).  I think I'll wearing it to a Give Thanks concert I go to annually on Friday evening (the evening after Thanksgiving).

I've been taking advantage of the 50% off each day, both in store and online.  I just ordered a black watchplaid velvet scarf online for 50% off.  I haven't seen it in the stores (that's not to say it isn't there, I haven't really looked at scarves).  I hope I like it when it arrives.  I thought it was pretty; I like most watchplaids and this could dress up an all-black outfit (I'd wear for indoor as fashion as well as for outdoor if I like it and keep it).
