I agree with the OP. The wigs look so fake and I'm surprised anyone is buying one. Wow.

That is, assuming you meant someone of that profession and not a citizen of the African country Liberia. I had no idea such concepts had persisted from the 19th century. And the one on Rachel this morning made her look like a mousey Liberian.. horrible looking wigs.
This made me laugh. My librarian friends would agree.

I do think some of you are missing the point when it comes to wigs. A lot of women wear wigs today for a variety of reasons and some don't care if the world knows they are wearing a wig. It's okay. Wigs are viewed as accessories or makeup for you hair. Do you think people think your natural lips are Peony Pink? You wear green eye shadow. Was anyone born with green eyelids? Is eyeliner a natural look? Well, it's the same with wigs. Women have fun with them. I did see Rachel this morning, I thought she looked cute in that wig. It was so different from her natural hair. She was having fun with it. A great man older women opt for wigs because, let's be honest here, a wig is far better than than that pink scalp look.

Just thank God that you don't HAVE TO wear a wig on a daily basis. I lost all the hair in my body 11 years ago. Your bad hair day would be the best day of my life. I have no choice.

But the page boy is the best of the lot, not saying much. Courtney didn't look that bad
Better profit on this line than Sherri's?

I was just thinking how cute Courtney looked in the wig. I agree with Chrystaltree that it would be a fun accessory.

You're comparing a wig to eye shadow and liner??
Some women do NEED to wear wigs. Some just enjoy wearing them to change things up. My point was that THESE wigs don't look good, and there are many many wig choices on the market. If I were a wig buyer, I would NOT choose this brand.

I also think the Sherri Sheppard's wigs are more realistic. These don't look realistic to me.
I won't be buying one of these but I am thinking about buying one of Sherri's.

My friend's daughter was diagnosed with alopecia at age 12 and goes through phases where she loses a lot of hair and when she doesn't. She's going to have a lot of wigs in her future. I think wigs are a commitment thing - if you're committed to them, whether by choice or necessity, I think you can get away with anything. I'm not committed and couldn't pull one off, but I think if someone can wear them and have fun and go from long hair to short and from red to blonde to brown, more power to her.
