Ha, ha, this post made me laugh. I also have a tee-shirt problem. I own over two dozen Pima cotton tee-shirts. I wear my Pima cotton tees most days because I am not working and they are soft and wear beautifully and you can layer a tee-shirt and wear it both casually and dressy if needed. I am a "dressy" tee-shirt girl, though, I don't wear anything with images or names on them. When we retire and downsize to a smaller house I am going to have a problem with the size of my wardrobe so I need to be more mindful of that now, but that is a tall order.

Re: TEE SHIRT OVERLOAD

[ Edited ]

Joan River's philosophy changed my outlook many years ago. She always said, "Don't save your good things for a special day. You should enjoy your nice clothing, dishes, jewelry, etc. every day".

I had been not wearing my better jewelry unless "going out" or special occasions. The better tees, sweaters, jeans or more expensive shoes/boots went unworn waiting for that "special" time while I wore my older clothing. I changed my closet around and moved the older things to be worn only for dog walking, the gym, etc.

I now wear ALL the clothes, shoes, jewelry on a daily basis and enjoy what cost more money. There are no "good robes" or "good nightgowns" being unworn. They were doing nothing for anyone just being "saved" for what?...especially these days. I'm using my good dishes, silver and glassware, too. Few people entertain fancy anymore. What I have not sold, I'm using and enjoying. Life is short.

Joan had a saying and sold a bracelet on QVC that read "DO IT NOW" & I am following her advice. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Unfortunately, she proved that point herself.

I need to belong to TSA (Tee Shirt Anonymous). I have stacks of grey, white and black in short sleeve and long sleeve. They're divided by v neck, crew neck and scoop neck. I'm counting at least a dozen or more in each pile collected over the last several years....whites and blacks replaced more often. Then I have 2 stacks of accent colors: red and wedgewood/French blue...yes, long and short sleeve and different neck styles.

My mission this weekend is to go through all of them and see why I pass up some to get to my favorites and pare down. The "passed overs" will go in my bin of studio wear.

I do love the versatility of tees and wear them all seasons...more than sweaters in our climate. Anyone else addicted to tees?

sounds like my jacket fetish. LOL    If your big busted buy your V neck T-shirts (cotton) at Target at the mens side by Goodfellow think the name is. They're folded up on a table in there. I got a dozen of them.  No labels to cut off and still itch you and no spandex and ample chest room. Your not pulling and tugging on them after you first wash them to stretch out a few more inches. They glide right over your bra sides and back nothing shows thru.

Love those things. Only place i could find a pink T shirt was on the mens side (LOL)  By the way 6.00 no processing and no waiting on the mail either.
