I looked at her selections in today's show and thought the same thing as you did. I was ready to write my own post about it. Are her new tops going for $61.00??! That's ridiculous! Its not Nordstrom's quality after all - its liquid knit polyester. Though I like her clothing - I cannot pay those prices. They are just too high for a top...."artisan" or otherwise.

she is getting greedy as most of the vendors do after years of selling. Add  that greed$$$ to higher costs of paying  hourly salaries  of out of country sweat factory workers....

I have been posting about Susan Graver and her pricing for months.

She is out of hand.   yes, some of her items are very nice.  but the jackets (liquid knits) are not even finished off.  Her chiffon vests/vest sets are very expensive for not being finished off.  I ordered a vest set a month ago and sent it back.  the shrerring on the collar was off and the whole vest was distorted.

Does Susan Graver ever come up for air.  she is constantly on air, even holidays, selling and talking.

Her prices are out of hand.  $100 to over a $100 for clothing made in China and not finished.  At least Joan Rivers clothering is costly but finished off in a professional way and well worth the price compared to all this liquid knit.

Another vendor who has gon down hill in her fabrics and the cost is up is Lori Goldstein.   Ordered one top, when it came in like a dishcloth.  Sent it right back.

QVC is only interested in these designer name clothing.  Only some of the designers are living up to their name.

OVC you are getting out of hand.

ITA!   I used to have a closet full of her tops but lately her liquid knit is starting to look like very cheap polyester. I am now loving H by Halston as his fabic is so lucious (sp?) and soft and not cheap looking at all, plus his prices are so reasonable.  Susan is also using such loud and old fashioned designs lately which I do not care for.

Why do you blame her?  She works for the Q, the Q sets the pricing.

Unless it's really really really I something want (not need), I'll cave but I haven't for a long time.

I just ordered the fleece D&C jacket that's under "new" 2nd page, I thought that was a great value and it appears to have some shape to it with the

faux belt like design covering the back.

Re: Susan Graver

[ Edited ]

I have a lot of Susan Graver clothes, some that I like very much.  Others that I thought I liked or needed, but hardly wore at all.  In fact, I have a few items to donate that I rarely wore.  That is on me, and I have to remember the money I wasted when I am tempted to buy more.

Her liquid knit is all over the place - I agree with the post about that.  Some of it is nice and smooth and a decent weight (in tops, not just dresses), and some if it is really cheap feeling.

I am also going to keep an eye on clearance.  Even those prices are high in my opinion.  But I am buying less of her stuff recently due to the higher prices.

I don't buy as many of her clothes as I used to because of the price.  However, I have never noticed any decrease in the excellent quality of those items I do purchase.  Love her liquid knit!

I have some of her non-print liquid knit tunics that aren't too bad, but her prints are getting out of hand.

I agree with H by Halston's fabric, the modal is to die for and you can buy multiples without breaking the bank.

I agree.  I've been wanting her V-neck long sleeved lace top but with shipping it's $65.00.  Kind of outrageous.  At least Macy's has sales and promo codes/coupons.
