The french terry will cost over $50.00 with shipping. That is ridiculous. Check Kohls, Macys, Target.

Susan Graver's clothes are not any more expensive than other lines at QVC. Why the focus on Susan Graver? I have found that department stores (macys, Dillard's, Nordstroms) carry clothes that are, on average, much more expensive than SG for comparable lines. I like the quality of SG clothes----which I've found to be far better than most dept store clothes.

I think we have all seen a post similar to this before. Time to move on and shop where you like. It's a no brainer.

I think Susan Graver's prices have gone up a lot. However, so have Denim & Co., Liz Claiborne, etc. The shoes on QVC are very expensive plus the shipping around $8.00. I'm loving Macy's with all their sales and discounts and free shipping and now free returns.

Really no comparison. They don't carry the full range of sizes QVC carries and the color choices.

I think you get what you pay for! SG is not that high compared with other places I have shopped. Plus you don't have to run around looking for your size and color, etc. And you don't have to burn up your gas, so I love shopping on the Q! I also LOVE reading the reviews. Helps me to decide what I want to get. Smile

I like her classic pieces. Her liquid knit maxi skirts (the ones with the slit) are fantastic. And I love the skorts with the gored skirt over them. I'm shaped like she is, with a smaller waist and larger hips and her clothes always fit me perfectly. I have several of her dresses that I've been wearing for more years than I care to admit, and they are still in great condition. I don't mind spending a little extra on items I know I'm going to wear the heck out of for a very long time.

I'm all for comparison shopping. As long as you are comparing the same item as exact as you can get. If you like shopping at Macy's, Target, and Kohl's, fine. Go for it. I've personally not had luck finding what I want at those stores. I think ALL clothing has gone up, no matter what level of quality you are buying, or where you buy it at. Even if you are playing the coupon game. My half off at Chico's makes the garment barely worth that reduced price. I think everyone should shop and pay what they are comfortable with. There are more than enough retailers to go around.

Clothing everywhere is more expensive these days. I have had to learn with SG that I really think the item will work because I can pretty much add $10-12 to the item for shipping and tax. And I return more SG than any other brand.

I now take very few chances. For me and my strange build, it happens when I start venturing into the unusual cuts--shark bite bottoms, frilly layers, cardigans that are longer in the front, etc. I've learned the hard way. Classics are the best for me, too.

I got some great deals at Macys and Kohls. I wear tall pants and got one pair for $10.49 the color cherry bomb and the color yellow for $17.99. + free shipping.
