I just can't get over yet another fly away front cardigan whether it drips or droops or has a ton of material in the front I already have a couple of them and don't want one in every color. First of all, they can't stay closed in the front and I'm always pulling at it, so for me it's not a good buy. But didn't she just have a no button/zip front cardigan just a little while ago? .... AND they're everywhere I look!
Susan is Susan.... and obviously a Q Management favorite. She's been on over 20 years and so far nothing has been done to curtail escalating on-air verbal problems so obviously the problems are here to stay. I watch until I can't anymore and that's all I can do.... ![]()

Honestly people, if you don't like polyester and/or prints, why on earth do you watch Susan Graver shows. Sure she does something in cotton once in a while, but she's known for her prints and her polyesters. She claims to be a print artist (or something like that) and is especially proud of her polys. Try another brand where cotton might be king. It sure isn't with SG.

I have a couple of her other similar cardigans, but they're in a much more substantial fabric. The fabric on the TSV looks so thin, you can see right through it, including the black. It would look nice with the same color underneath, but not so much with something else. Plus, i really wonder about how the backside would lookafter you sat for awhile.

Two comments - first, more than half of what's for sale at the upscale mall near me is poly or acrylic or some other synthetic --and almost all of it costs more than SG. So, you have a choice - buy or don't buy. I'm not touching the TSV, but it's not the fabric turning me away - it's just not a good design for my body.
Second - everyone I talk with frequently has those repeat phrases in their speech habits. For some, it's "amazing" or "wondeful", for some it's "like" or "you know" and probab;y because part of my job was to try to erase those bad habits from others, I could go on and on. It's close to a thankless job.

I take it as not "over the top".

SG is a very talented designer and I love many of her clothes; however, her personality is obnoxious. She is quite self-absorbed and, like another reviewer, I would like to hear the description of the items before she starts spouting off with her redundant, grandiose, comments. Really hate that she interrupts the presenters when they are trying to describe the items. But, I just mute her out on my TV and go on line to see the description of the items.

I am beginning to feel that too !
Of course that is the fashion industry to copy designs and make customers want to buy, buy buy , then make it obsolete . What is new and different and must be purchased so as not to be 'dated'.
Sharkbite , trapeze, asymmetrical , will most likely be going the way of shoulder pads of the 80's at some point.
I think when she says "kooky/crazy" she means hers are not as exaggerated as many of the designers.
I watched the other channels clearance sales a lot yesterday. I saw some wonderful bargains and a lot of items by the end of the day that made me want to abstain from the above mentioned styles ! Bright prints/thin knits/embellished/flowy materials sometimes all on one item ---sometimes too much is just too much!![]()
I also noticed some hosts and vendors whose voices and affectations drove me to run to change the channel . I think a little vacation from shopping channels will do me good
right after I check out lunchtime specials.

@SeaMaiden I agree about that striped sweater. I also HATE one design on the front and a plain back. What is up with that???
She did that with the lace tank too - lace front, plain back. Liz C does the same thing, and I just looked at that patterned sweater in the Bob Mackie show and it too is plain back.
I hate garments like this, feels like it's not been nicely finished off.
I also do not like hoods on MANY items either. WHat a waste of fabric that we're paying for and 99% will not use. SG had that solid sweater/top trimmed in white - yeah had a hood. HATE IT!

Susan does more than just prints FYI. Plenty of solids like what she had on today. From what I've seen, there is a lot of polyester clothing from different vendors on qvc.

@PINKdogWOOD I don't care for the bulk of the hood so I try to stay away from that if I can.
