Surprised....No Regis?

I was very surprised not to see or hear from Joan's friend, Regis Philbin. Did I miss him at the memorial? It is possible he is vacationing . But I found this very strange. I know Kelly was in Italy attending the wedding of Neil Patrick Harris. I hope he is okay.

I, too, have been wondering at the silence, lack of pics, mention of his name. I'm wondering if the media doesn't consider him newsworthy. Can't possibly imagine that Regis and Joy would not be at the memorial. Even if they were in CA visiting kids, they would fly back for that. Joan appeared w/Regis many times, Regis went to Melissa's wedding - unfathomable they wouldn't attend.

Further down the page is a link to Regis on phone w/Larry on 9/8. I presume Regis in NY, Larry in CA. Regis must have been there, although the clip is so short, it's hard to say. Guess one needs to watch the entire episode.

I do find it amusing that I haven't read many of the Joan threads, but each of the ones I've seen turns into an argument! No matter how benign the topic appears to be....

I forgot about him. He may have been there but the media didn't focus on him possibly

Actually it doesn't even have to be a Joan thread, any subject these days turn into an argument.....must be the season changing.
