Elevated athleisure, especially monochrome sets 

Coastal & Fisherman aesthetic: boat shoes, linen, stripes, sailor pants, gold buttons, fisherman sandals 

Ladylike: classic dresses, knit cardigans, tweed, slingback shoes

Slim pants

Excessive accessories, especially on handbags, in the hair, and on shoes

Prep school: polos, wide stripes, button front shirts,  blazers, sweater vests, cardigans, loafers

Minimal men's inspired workwear

Softer suiting 

Higher hemlines: Hot pants & mini skirts 

Lingerie and lace 

Americana classic: stars, stripes, flag motifs, denim, jean & bomber jackets 

Wide leg & barrel leg jeans, straight leg jeans

Plaids & ginghams & polka dots

My favorites:

Coastal - I like stripes, boat shoes, and gold buttons

Prep school - I like everything

Americana classic - I like it, but I don't wear flag motifs

I will definitely take a pass on barrel leg jeans, mini skirts, hot pants, and lingerie as outerwear.

The rest of the list, NO.

No to: everything else.  I really have no need for work clothes and just some nice outfits for going out occasionally.

I think one would actually have to go out of one's way to avoid wearing any of these items, the list is so comprehensive.  Denims and  button down shirts being examples.

I'm not a trend follower .... I basically wear the same styles all year, every year .... just change fabrics and colors from sseason to season.

I use the same crochet and knitting patterns .... just  change the yarns.

@CrazyTimes  I want to wear more skirts (maybe not on your list but that's my plan anyway,ha) . I found a cute long tiered ivory floral one from Walmart that will look cute with my cowboy boots.....

I also found the most gorgeous sweater dress from Target yesterday :
