I looked at those photos and I can't figure it out. What do you guys think this fabric is? Nylon mesh like a Vivienne Tam piece, or nylon with metallic lurex thread knitted into it, like a jersey?

Would it be worth having the dress cut off and re-hemmed to tunic length? Looks like it could be done pretty easily.

I loved it until I saw the word "metallic". I don't like any kind of shimmer, sheen, or metallic in my clothing. This dress would have been classy and stunning if not for the added shimmer. Oh well, I saved some money.

I like this idea! It could be worn with the Hunter WK pants. And possibly with the green velvet pants from a while back. With black velvet for sure. Would make a great outfit for holiday parties!
