Hi everyone...I'm wondering if I'm the only one who has a problem with any clothes that are poly/span or similar fabric snagging very easily? Thanks

No, but cashmere can be destroyed with a cheap bracelet (especially when you are sitting in the dark at a movie) and can't see what you are doing and you're eating popcorn and with each kernel goes a ruined area of cashmere.

There are ways to fix snags on some garments. You have to know how. It's a matter of pulling the fibers back to their original position w/o breaking them. Once broken then a hole can develop. I knew a professional weaver who would fix snags and holes in expensive garments and you couldn't even see wear the repairs were done.

I rarely wear poly span. I don't like the feel.

@BJRich As a rule, no problem with poly/Spandex but occasional!y I'll run across a loosely woven fabric that snags easily. I think its the weave rather than the fabric content.

I browse a lot of tops on HSN. Several reviews I've read recently mention snagging.

I was reading through the replies before adding my two cents worth, but @Kachina624 took the words right out of my mouth. It's the weave or texture of a fabric that causes the problem. You can't blame everything on polyester.

The several pairs of Susan Graver's liquid knit pants I own have snagged - it's kinda weird because they only snag in the back from the knee down. Won't buy them again.
