I remember my adoptive mom wearing them to bed at night. She wore a size 40 DDD bra so she often had pain in her shoulders and complained about how it was a necessity wearing one, Myself? 34B and love not needing a bra in my leisure hours. She used to say how sorry she felt for me not being well endowed. 🥺I have always been very happy with not actually "needing" a supportive bra and at 70, I don't droop or need one except when I go out for modesty sake.

Wow.  What an odd thing to say.  Was it meant as a "put down"?

Sadly, my adoptive mom suffered from profound mental illness. She had schizophrenia and beauty was what she valued most. Her illness made her cruel @Tinkrbl44 and I was often the recipient of her "put downs."

I have seen many times where well endowed women had a kind of superiority feeling about their larger breast size.  I was teased as a young woman, and they were always flaunting their cleavage with low cut blouses, tank tops.  I considered augmentation but thankful I reconsidered.

I always sleep in a bra.  But, I don't go without a bra ever.   I sleep in an Ahh type of bra that isn't tight or too restrictive but still gives some support.  I have never been the person who takes off their bra when they come in the door.  Just never wore one that uncomfortable.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@Carmie
I feel the same as you. My bras are comfortable. I wear a 38D and don't feel comfortable without them. I wear a wireless support bra at night, under wire during the day.

I always slept in a bra. I might get ready for bed earlier in the evening or might not get dressed right away in the morning.  And sometimes have to get up in the middle of the night for children.  I did not feel comfortable walking around without one in front of them.

I sleep in a bra.  I wear comfort type bras where I don't even realize I'm wearing it.  It's more comfortable for me than not wearing one.

I wear a sleep bra.  It's not a regular tight support bra.  It's very comfortable and is enough to keep me from flopping around.  I like it.

A while ago, my sisters and I had a discussion about this very topic. I can’t remember who brought it up but one of my sisters, my mom and I all said we would never wear a bra to bed! We thought it was strangest thing that my other two sisters slept with bras. They were astonished that we didn’t. It ended up being such a funny conversation because nobody could believe what the others were doing! 😆
