Wowwie, is it just me or did July zoom by?
Hello all, my JCP order arrived today and I've yet to open it. I mowed the grass today and barely had any clippings in the bagger attachment. The last time I mowed the grass was on July 3rd
. It's been that dry in my part of Michigan.
I'm happy that IT fixed the issue that most of us experienced when trying to communicate in the community.
What's good in your world today?

Good Evening and thanks for getting us started, Bernie. Hope you like your JCP order. Interesting about the grass/lack of rain in your area. We have been lucky lately as far as rain goes. DD told me that their new area gets quite a bit of rain, and it is very lush and green.
I asked about prices, etc., and she told me that their gasoline prices are low ($3.60 or so). Still $4.47 here. While some prices are higher than Maryland, many are lower in South Carolina. So far so good for them.
Our weather was nice when I took my morning walk -- no rain today. I have been going through my non-clothing travel items. I have more than enough of some, but decided to pick up a few items from Walmart. I prefer to have shampoo, sunscreen, etc. with me rather than needing to buy them when I reach my destination.
The gym went well (not crowded), and I was very pleased with the headband keeping sweat out of my eyes. While I am not a fan of headbands, they are certainly useful.
My hospice deliveries went fine yesterday afternoon.
I heard from Barbara. Good news is that her DH is doing very well. Bad news is that she was miserable after having her yearly cardiac tests on Wednesday (needed pain pills after the tests). Also, her brother Bob passed out while he was biking, and found he has some serious cardiac issues. He may well need bypass surgery. Also, she is still dealing with the long term insurance problems.
Glad you had your savings to help pay for the siding, Fressa. I remember one of my financial people saying -- you have saved for a rainy day, and you need to be okay to spend when rainy days come. But, it is difficult to give up that sort of cushion.
Waves to Glenda, Susan, and all of our posters and readers.
Sleep well everyone.
Hugs,
Linda
