I like most of the styles on Jane's show and I'm not old and frumpy or a grandma. In my line of work I can't wear open toed styles, high heels, sandals or most fashion shoes. Plus, I do have ankle and heel issues from injuries and sports. While I love the look of some GILI and other shoes I can no longer wear them.

Seems clear in the title of the post you were referring to Jane as Grandma.

If you like the shoes, what would that matter?

@Iwantcoffee. I agree they should diversify their selection but you can find shoes much cheaper on Zappos or do a search and find shoes cheaper and most of the time free shipping. I bought my first pair of Sofft Olivia Peep Toe Pump Wedge A327468 (no longer available) and paid $85.00 a piece for them only to find them on line with free shipping for $69.95. They are my favorite shoes. I ordered the Terra Cotta Suede and the Almond and wear the Almond almost everyday and have people stop me to ask me where I got them. The are super comfortable and stylish. I love high heels and when I find comfortable ones I buy more than one pair. I even bought another pair of the Almond so I never run out. I may buy another pair (LOL).

Jane is a bit overly cheery in her presentations and I am not overjoyed by it but I just turn it off. I admit the shoes they show on QVC are not the highest of fashion and I rarely if ever buy shoes from QvC, but to bash these hosts and call them Grandma is so immature and mean. I don't have children or grandchildren but most grandparents I know are proud to be called Grandma. I suspect the OP is some young or fairly young and obviously immature and could use a lesson in some basic manners
It's evident that you did NOT read my other posts about this thread. I was NOT referring to Jane as "grandma" I was referring to the footwear she was hosting.

I've been a Q shopper for about three years and have decided that Jane is my favorite host. I've watched them all ~ like a lot of them ~ can't watch a few of them ~ but Jane has grown on me and I have a lot of respect for her.

What if people have bad feet? At least these are styles that accommodate problem feet. Some are better than others and consider yourself lucky if you don't have to wear them. Clearly they are aiming at a 50-plus demographic.
If you want "stylish," you know where to go. Detractors and meanies, you act like this the only place from which you can purchase shoes. It's better to go to a store and try them on. Never did get thing about ordering shoes you haven't tried on in person. A waste of money and time. Zappos is probably better for that. Easier returns.

@Brunette = This is the title of your post
Shoe Shopping with Grandma, I mean Jayne
How can one misconstrue that???
04-18-2014 02:04 PM
Well easy! If you would have opened my thread the first sentence refers to QVC shoes not Jane. Did YOU EVEN READ what I posted? I guess not. Every single shoe that was hosted last night was a velcro style strap flat shoe. Yes, they would be good for someone that has bad feet. But they should show a variety of styles, something for everyone. They clearly didnt. The show was clearly aimed for people with bad feet or someone that is on their feet all day. And that's fine, but show some other more FASHIONABLE STYLES!
