I've just about had it with QVC shipping.  I order 2 of the Disney jackets for Christmas gifts.  Today is December 29th and they're still not here.  They went from Fontana, CA., to Ontario, CA., back to Fontana, CA., then to Southgate, MI. where I live then to Rossford, OH.  Unbelieveable!! Maybe I'll ge them as Valentine gifts!

This sounds more of a shippers problem, not QVC. Once the item is packaged and left their warehouse, they no longer have control. Maybe you should complain to USPS or UPS, whomever has the item in their possession.

@Blackcatmom    Do you really think it's fair to accuse QVC of shipping snafus?  They have absolutely no control over what happens to a package once it leaves their warehouse.  When you order anything from any online retailer, you run the risk of it being misdirected.  If you want certainty, shop in a store!

I agree with what you say, @cjm61, which is why QVC and HSN, should not be allowed to make the  "Under the tree guarantee."  They have no control once it is turned over to the shipping company.

I agree QVC has no control, so they should not guarantee delivery over & over & over!

@Largoman   @bells4me    Since the OP doesn't mention when she ordered her item, the Christmas guarantee is a moot point here.

Rossford, OH you say?

I have had a top stuck there since 12/5....that hub must have issues!

It's Christmas, IT WAS A RECORD BLIZZARD....sadly, things happen!!

QVC has never been known for speedy delivery anyways.

I didn't get mail for 4 days let alone any delivery trucks.  Couldn't get a plow to us til Monday night.

That's what I get for living in Buffalo.

@Largoman and @bells4me In respect to guarantee Christmas delivery, a consumer must use common sense. Of course no business can actually guarantee delivery. Most all online retailers stated Christmas Delivery Guaranteed on specific items.  Educated consumers know that unforeseen circumstances can occur, or they should know. This year the weather was a huge factor.

Like @Kachina624 stated, shop stores in your town. It truly is the only guarantee.

Kudos to the employees at all online retailers working so very hard to get items shipped before Christmas only to have the shipper delay delivery.

What I meant was, why can't QVC use shipping companies that ship directly to the city or closest city where you live without the item having to travel all over the United States.   How can I order items from Amazon and they get here usually the next day?   I order a lot of items from Ebay that come from California and they usually arrive in a couple of days without going from city to city.

For the prices charged for shippping they should be shipped wth UPS or Fed ex .. companies get contract deals.  not USPS which for some reason  orders from QVC go around the country  in circles...  I order on line  regularly from at least 6 companies. The other issue is  the time it takes the item to even leave QVC warehouse.. weeks !   QVC has gone to H in a handbasket since purchasing HSN.  I understand during covid not using live models of different sizes..  so we can see full circle how clothing fits someone our size.  .. such as rolls bulges showing.. length, flow.. shipping is expensive returns expensive,  Presenter talking talking  with clothes on a hanger  about their weekend, blah blah blah showing colors over and over.. or one size pre filmed  model.. or the presenter wearing all black  I  would bet QVC sales are down  which in turn is the reason  for the lower quality and high prices. I was an avid. QVC  Shopper. no more..  sizing is not  consistent anymore either.
