After reading decisionmaker's post, it makes more sense. I bet it's a trial run to see if reduced shipping makes a difference. If they made a big deal of it, it would skew the data because people might rush to take advantage it. I could be totally wrong about that, but it sounds like they're doing it as a part of market research.

It sounds that way to me, too. It tipped me to make two purchases that I wouldn't have because of the shipping charges.

I noticed and think it's great. Did not know it's only for a limited time, guess that makes sense though - they can't afford to do this for long.

I notice they didn't advertise about it either. After ordering several items over the weekend, I could have saved over $10 if I had waited.

Call CS and they may refund the difference. I've read where some people called and CS refunded the difference in the S&H.

The Q continues to read our posts on blackboard. It is now advertising this S&H price reduction. Look at the banner above the community, right below the tabs. )

There is an announcement on the site that many items are being shipped for $3 or $5 until the end of the month. I for one bought 5 items today so far. I am hoping if sales go up with the reduced shipping rate, they will keep the lower rates. Buy now! I must have saved $50 since the items I bought had a $3 rate instead of the usual $10-$13. I also cancelled purchases with the higher rate. You can bet the Q is tracking sales of discounted S/H items.
