Wow, I'm sorry to say I didn't really like any of those dresses. Odd year I guess.

With the exception of Ellie Kemper who wore a velvet one shoulder dress, I honestly didn't like any of the other dresses.  I couldn't believe such ugly dresses came down the red carpet.  And even Ellie's dress was nothing to write home about.  I just thought it was less ugly than everyone else's. 

I particularly hated Nicole Kidman's dress and Natalie Portman's dress.  Sofia Vegara looks like she's going to a school formal or the prom. 

Even Julia Louis-Dreyfus who I normally think makes excellant fashion choices was in a dud last night.

I like Michelle William's gown. Pictures do no justice for it. It was pretty spectacular imo.

I wanted to like Giuliana's gown. But I think it would have looked better on a fuller-figured woman. It's for sure a va-va-voom dress. IMO her gown made her look too bony, almost gauntly.

I didn't even think to watch E.  However, watching the show only reinforces my love of the Tony Awards over the Hollywood scene.  I did think Michelle Dockery looked elegant in a simple "I'm not trying too hard" way.

These dresses are absolutely hoorendous. Most of them look like they are wearing nothing under these dresses. What happened to dresses that were classy? If this is what the designers are doing nowadays, they need to go back to the drawing board.
