Most years I wear a Christmas dress covered by my ivory Linea tunic for Christmas Eve services.

I can't remember what my tunic is called. It's a heavier fabric, and it zips up. I'm working on the service,  and I thought I'd better think about what I'm wearing!

Can anyone help me name this beautiful tunic?  Smiley Happy

I can't remember the name, but I have 4 colors.  Smiley Happy  It's longer and is lined with a satin-like material.  It looks great with pants and pencil skirts too.  I bet you look gorgeous!!

I have three of those tops.  Thanks for reminding me, I'll have to move them toward the front of my closet.

Re: Remembering the Linea line

@TexasMom1 , @santorini , and @Biftu - @TexasMom1, that's the one! I have it in caramel too!

It's so pretty. It was perfect over my dress when I wore it before. I don't think anyone will remember my exact outfit, but you never know - LOL!

It can get chilly in there, and I don't want to be speaking with my teeth chattering! This jacket kept me nice and warm. I need to wear it more!  Smiley Wink

Thanks for sharing your Linea love, and again @TexasMom1, thank you for knowing what it is called!  Smiley Happy

I have it in caramel too and wear it over my Linea matching pants topped with my caramel trench.  Louis used to call it the column of color look.

@santorini and @TexasMom1 - I own that jacket also in the red and caramel color I wanted the ivory too but it was sold out in my size.  I wore the red not to long ago to a church event....love the two way zipper!

Gorgeous jacket and the colors are so rich and saturated.  Looks great with the ponte knit pants which I have every color!

Louis is a true designer.  His clothing is timeless and by far the best line in QVC, then and now.  No one comes close to what he brought to his ladies but QVC buyers were not interested in his line.

I don't think it was ever a question of buyers not interested.

The man wanted to retire. Don't most people eventually reach that point?

Re: Remembering the Linea line

I'm wearing a whisper knit sweater today.  And I wear my faux suede trench most of the year here.  Some things I don't wear as much these days, but I sure got my wear out of just about everything.

His line was always beautiful and classic. I can't say that QVC really "replaced" him because I don't consider what they offer now designer pieces; I don't think they actually have what I consider a designer, just salespeople.

Re: Remembering the Linea line

I'll post this here in case anyone is interested.

She's not Louis Smiley Happy but I do love some pieces from Marla Wynne's line on HSN.  I bought a cardigan (No. 879-498) when it was almost $100.  I loved it so I watched to see if the price dropped.  A couple of months later it dropped to $60 so I bought 2 more.  It recently dropped to $37.98.

There are broken sizes but if you can find your size, it might be worth a try.  I sized up one because I don't like tight things.  It is very well made but it is certainly not a fashion statement.  It's just an ordinary cardigan but the quality is outstanding.  I bought 4 more and will use some for gifts.  Take a look if you need a HEAVY sweater (it's definitely not lightweight).  There are four colors.

MW has some fabulous items I buy from her line a lot.  The quality and colors are amazing.

That cardigan is an amazing price too.
